Roc Nation signee, Indianapolis-born, LA-based singer Maeta has arrived at a tent-pole career intersection with the release of her upcoming dance-infused EP Endless Night with Kaytranada out now. This release comes on the heels of her having recently peaked at #1 on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart with her last single “Through The Night.” She is officially in her experimentation era, and plans for world domination with her EP with Kaytranada. “DJ Got Me” is a vocal interpolation of the Indeep original “Last Night a DJ Saved My Life.” Produced by Kaytranada and co-written by Fallon King (Tone Stith, DanLeigh) and mixed by Gregg Rominiecki (Kanye West, Jhené Aiko, Big Sean) and mastered by Chris Gheringer (Rihanna, BTS, Dua Lipa), this record is a sonic masterpiece. Maeta’s new EP, Endless Night, will usher in a new chapter that will see Maeta’s career in a new direction for this era.

Infusing modern R&B with elements of lounge jazz and pop, Maeta’s enchanting vocal style has garnered attention since her initial releases. Her silky voice first attracted a following through a series of brief projects, which culminated in the 2020 track “Teen Scene,” produced by KAYTRANADA and featuring Buddy. This song was later included in her Roc Nation debut, the Habits EP, released in 2021. By 2023, Maeta had collaborated with artists such as Ty Dolla $ign and Lucky Daye on her highly interactive 13-track debut LP, When I Hear Your Name.

It has been said that the “two most powerful warriors are patience and time.” For the past few years, the industry has watched an intentional climb to stardom for Maeta. But now,Indianapolis-born, LA-based singer Maeta has arrived at a tent-pole career intersection delivered by those two very warriors. This moment started rather humbly and has evolved to the point where she stands at the edge of the universe ready to launch into the void of superstardom. Sherecently peaked at #1 on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart with her last single “Through The Night.” But she is entering into a new phase of artistic freedom only afforded to a select few rare artists. She is officially in her experimentation era, and plans for world domination with her dance infused EP with Kaytranada. It’s that moment in a championship game where the fans sense the momentum has swung into the favor of the home team. And with this momentum oscillation, Maeta’s new EP, Endless Night, ushers Maeta’s career in a new direction.

Critics have long used lofty adjectives describing Maeta as a “tour de force,” a “powerhouse,” “soulful” and an “artist on the rise,” to name a few. Her last EP “When I Hear Your Name” showcased collaborations with some of the greatest artists in the industry and illustrated her appeal as your favorite artist’s favorite artist. KAYTRANADA, Kehlani, Demi Lovato, Ty Dolla $ign and Lucky Daye are just a few of the artists featured on the EP. She is also represented by powerhouse management agencies MBK Entertainment, Inc and JDH & Company, led by industry icons Jeff Robinson, Jeanine McLean and Jason Hobdy. She closed out 2023 touring across North America, the U.K., and Europe and also released “When I Hear Your Name (Live).” She stunned audiences with a captivating performance of “Through The Night” at the Soul Train Awards. And most recently delivered to viewers around the world a spectacular performance of the National Anthem at the Sonsio Grand Prix (IndyCar Series). Shortly thereafter, Chris Brown announced that Maeta will be joining him on all the tour dates on his 11:11 Tour kicking off on June 5, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan. The tour also features special guests Arya Starr and Muni Long. She has also signed a publishing deal with the iconic Warner Chappell Music.

Now the world is witness to an ascension. That rise of one of this generation’s greatest vocalists and most interesting artists. The culmination of the perfect combination of those two warriors’ patience and time.

Now at the release of this dance infused EP, Endless Night, with Kaytranada, she delivers “DJ Got Me,” a vocal interpolation of the Indeep original “Last Night a DJ Saved My Life.” Produced by Kaytranada and co-written by Fallon King (Tone Stith, DanLeigh) and mixed by Gregg Rominiecki (Kanye West, Jhené Aiko, Big Sean) and mastered by Chris Gheringer (Rihanna, BTS, Dua Lipa), this record is a sonic masterpiece.

Wonderland recently said of Maeta “She’s the main character of a story she wrote herself, pocketing dreams as chapters and not aspirations; but there’s plenty of room for more.” With Maeta’s journey from performing in her living room to signing to Roc Nation and touring around North America and Europe, being co-signed by Pharrell Williams and releasing music with the likes of Thundercat, Vic Mensa, and Chris Brown, she’s had quite the meteoric experience but with this next release, she’s will undoubtedly prove that she’s an artist who will seamlessly navigate any genre with her raw and effortless talent.

Maeta is currently touring with Chris Brown on all the tour dates on his 11:11 Tour kicking off on June 5, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan. The tour also features special guests Ayra Starr and Muni Long.
